Juicy Oven-Baked Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1⁄4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1⁄4 cup water
Directions
- Pour some evaporated milk into a shallow dish for dipping the chicken.
- Dip each chicken breast into the evaporated milk to lightly coat, then dredge in the seasoned flour mixture until evenly coated on both sides.
- Arrange the floured chicken in a single layer in a greased 13x9 inch baking dish. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the chicken.
- Bake at 425°F for 30 minutes, until light golden brown.
- While the chicken bakes, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, remaining evaporated milk and the water in a small bowl.
- Carefully flip chicken breasts and pour the cream sauce evenly over the top.
- Bake for 30 more minutes, until the chicken is completely cooked through and the sauce is bubbling.
- Serve immediately and enjoy this juicy oven-baked chicken!
