1/4 cup of almond meal (or any other nutmeal you like)
(If you want to avoid nuts, you can use some flour instead, but make sure
to adjust the wet ingredients accordingly)
1/2 cup of chopped mixed nuts
1 cup of dried fruit (you can choose your favorite ones, or use chocolate
chips or berries)
3 ripe bananas, mashed (or you can use applesauce or 2 eggs as
alternatives)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of canola oil (or any other oil you like)
Steps
Heat up the oven to 175°C and cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a big bowl, mix the oats, almond meal, chopped nuts and coconut flakes.
Add the cinnamon and allspice and stir well. Then, add the dried fruit and
make sure they are evenly distributed and not clumped together.
In another bowl, whisk the canola oil, mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
Pour this mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well until everything is
combined.
Use a large cookie cutter to shape the batter into drops. Place them on the
baking sheet and remove the cookie cutter. You can also use your hands to
make balls and flatten them slightly.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Enjoy your
oat drops without sugar! 😋
